We don't chew from "tough" weather

It 's been raining for the entire day here. Still, we arranged a football match against some guys whose "coach" thought we wouldn't be able to handle wind and rain in a football match, just because we 're of female gender. I 'll take things with their order and start from the lineups. But, because most of my readers don't know the mentioned players, these lineups will be much deeper than a simple name list. The format will be as follows:

Position: First name (height/age) talent distribution percentages

That 's the big thing here: talent distribution percentages. Our coach, the woman who taught me this fabulous sport, has assessed us all and given us a list that describes each one's talent distribution. Of the five parts of this distribution, three concern technique (defensive, neutral and attacking technical elements) and the other two concern strength (explosive and grip). Each player's ceiling at these five things is defined by the said player's bodytype (on the other hand, body fat percentages are purely a question of physical condition, which is not the same thing as "bodytype", so don't be confused). So, to set things straight, this distribution will be coded by the initials of each part: DT, NT, AT, ES, GS. You will notice that every single player gets a "talent sum" of 100. Why? Because PERCENTages.

As hosts of the match, we had the kickoff for the first half (no coin tosses here). We instantly saw the majority of our opponents make forward runs, while we still had the ball at our feet. They wanted to press us, obviously. But, having one more player on the axis, we easily broke their pressing. Georgia passed a nice low through-ball to Aphrodite, who began her run from behind the kickoff line so there was no case of offside. In spite of our striker starting her run from so far behind, there was nobody to mark her. She ran alone on the open pitch, finished the phase with a nice "finesse shot" and put us 1-0 in front. The men's "coach" was surprised but not worried: "Come on, turn the tables, I know you can do it!" he shouted to his players. Their response was to... start hoofing. In spite of George being taller than our central defenders though, he never beat them to a header. Don't even ask about Nick, all he did was to shout at George after every header our defenders won. As a result it was very easy for us to score a handful of goals. One of them was easily the most memorable: the match was at 2-0, our priority was to maintain a slow game pace, so our opponents thought we were trying to cover some weakness and tried to give pace to the match by pressing us. How Eliana dribbled three opponents at once and rushed towards what ended up being our third goal was a good lesson on how wrong it is to disregard the female gender. "It was easy, those blokes don't know how to mark" she responded to the praise we gave her after the match. Of course they don't know how to mark a fast and skilled girl such as Eliana! Don't go thinking she 's just a dribbler though. Despite her very young age, she 's a serious player and never lets her area seem exposed. Whether it is pressing or patient defending, Eliana does great at keeping opponents in check. She makes very smart use of her speed and easily adapts to any tactical choice, thanks to her very advanced strategic intelligence.

All in all, we handled the wind and rain just fine. Others are worth questioning...
